Notes from the Hill

April 2026

HOA Annual Meeting
The annual Hickory Hill Association Meeting will be held at the Dupont Public Library
Thursday April 30@ 7pm.

New Homeowners Welcome to the Hickory Hill Neighborhood
We wish to extend a warm Welcome to you as a new member of Hickory Hill Community Association.  Our community is governed by written documents known as the Protective Restrictions, Covenants, and Bylaws are available on this website.

Friendly Reminder for all Hickory Hill Residents
Altering the outside appearance of your home, for example, adding a deck, fencing, pool addition to your home or any change on the outside, needs approval from the Architectural Director.  At this time, it is Jim Tosconi, 921 Upland Ridge Dr.  The architectural change form can be found on this website.  Fill it out and submit it to Jim for evaluation and approval.

The storing of garbage & recycle bins within our community
The city ordinance requires that garbage bins be stored out of public view except on designated collection days, which are on Tuesdays.  We kindly ask that you follow the city's guidelines.  Fort Wayne garbage bin ordinances require residents to place bins at the curb by 6:00 am on collection day, but no earlier than noon the day before.  Containers must be removed by noon the day after pickup, and stored in the garage or at least 10 feet from the front edge of the house or out of view from the street.  If your bins are currently visible from the street, please take a moment to move them to an appropriate storage location.  Our goal is simply to help keep the neighborhood lookin its best and ensure we remain in compliance with the city regulations.

We have a new deck on the pond
We had the deck and landscaping replaced on the pond and it has come to our attention the children are throwing the landscaping rocks into the pond and sitting/standing on the pier post causing them to bend over.  We would kindly ask the parents to discourage this kind of behavior.
